Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu again showed his class when he replaced Libbok in the 44th minute of the one-off Test against Portugal in Bloemfontein at the weekend.
The 22-year-old did in 36 minutes what Springbok fans have not seen from their regular flyhalves in months.
In those 36 minutes, Feinberg-Mngomezulu made two try assists, beat two defenders and had a perfect goal-kicking record.
And while Feinberg-Mngomezulu is being called a prodigy, the real business, and a complete talent, it is evident that Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has some tough decisions to make when he selects the touring squad for Australia.
The team will be announced on Tuesday.
The pundits are saying the young flyhalf delivered a masterclass in Bloemfontein, and that he is the future of the Bok.
Sadly Libbok, the incumbent flyhalf who started the match, again struggled with his kicks at goal – missing three from five kicks.
It is a burden he has carried his entire career.

Erasmus was asked, at the post-match media briefing, what could be done to improve Libbok’s kicking woes.
He looked frustrated as he wiped his brow, before answering truthfully.
“I am not a kicking coach,” Erasmus said, adding: “Tony [Brown] is trying to help him.
“I think if you chat to Naas Botha, there was a time when he went through a dip and he [Libbok] is going through a dip.
“But his general play is still good.
“So it’s a tough one to handle,” Erasmus acknowledged.
“And then Sacha comes out and slots everything, he passes well and he creates tries.
“I think there is some proper pressure on all the No.10s – Handre [Pollard], Manie [Libbok] and Gaza [Damian Willemse].
“There are some new guys in the team that are doing things [creating pressure].
“But no, I can’t fix his kicking,” Erasmus said, shaking his head.
