Toyota Challenge 2024 – Round 2 | Toyota Cheetahs vs Novavit Griffons

After suffering a 24-38 defeat against the Western Force on Wednesday, the Toyota Cheetahs is ready to stand up and face the Griffons in Round 2 of the Toyota Challenges. The main match on Sunday (6 October) in Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein starts at 15:45.

The two teams will battle it out for a whopping R300 00 in prize money. R10 000 is up for grabs for the Toyota Challenge Man of the Match, and the “Toyota Legendary Moment” prize of R5 000 will go to the player or group responsible for a magic or turn-around moment in the game. This game is your chance to see the players pouring their hearts out on the field.

At 13:00, the Emerging Ireland will take on Western Force in a friendly match. All games will be live on SuperSport.

Gates open at 11:00, and supporters are encouraged to come early to be part of all the action. Karoo will provide the perfect entertainment for a Sunday afternoon before and after the main match. This year’s Toyota Challenge is packed with incredible prizes up for grabs, making it a must-attend event for all fans!

Attend all three matches, and you could win R10 000! Visit the Macron store at the stadium during each game to collect a special sticker for eligibility. Remember to bring your tickets as proof of attendance. A lucky winner’s name will be drawn during the final match on 9 October.

Tickets are only R40 and can be purchased at the Toyota Stadium ticket office or online at www.ticketpros.co.za. Please note that complimentary tickets do not qualify for the fan competitions. 

If you drive a Toyota vehicle and have a match ticket to show at the gate, you can park inside Toyota Stadium in the Toyota Parking area. Entry is only from Att Horal Avenue.  

To ensure the safety of players and officials, Free State Rugby had to install temporary fences to prevent supporters from entering the field directly from the stands. However, supporters can still access the field after the match through the blue gates in the northwestern and southwestern corners and meet the Toyota Cheetah players behind the main stand.
