Andre-Hugo Venter will make his 50th DHL Stormers appearance as Frans Malherbe and Manie Libbok return to face the Glasgow Warriors in Stellenbosch on Saturday.
Venter starts the Vodacom URC round 6 clash at Danie Craven Stadium in the middle of a powerful front row, between fellow Springbok Malherbe and veteran prop Brok Harris.
Ruben van Heerden and JD Schickerling link up in a new-look second row, while the loose trio of Keke Morabe, Ben-Jason Dion and Marcel Theunissen remains unchanged.
The return of Libbok at flyhalf sees Damian Willemse shift to No 12 and skipper Dan du Plessis to outside centre.
MORE: Venter building Stormers innings
Ruhan Nel scored a brace of tries from outside centre during the bonus-point win against Munster at Cape Town Stadium last week, and he shifts to right wing in place of Suleiman Hartzenberg.
Hartzenberg is in line to make an impact off the bench alongside Joseph Dweba, Leon Lyons, Neethling Fouche, Adre Smith, Willie Engelbrecht, Louw Nel and Herschel Jantjies, as the Stormers aim to finish on a high before the URC pauses for the November Test window.
The Capetonians are looking for their first win over Glasgow in three URC clashes.
“They are the defending URC champions and it’s our last game before the break. It’s a big one for us,” said Stormers director of rugby John Dobson.
“There is so much desperation from within this team to do well.
“If we get it right, it means we have won three out of five, having already toured, so we will be hard in the mix. It’s going to be a vibe in Stellenbosch.”
