In an exciting collaboration aimed at bringing the energy and excitement of Sharks rugby to even more fans across KZN, East Coast Radio (ECR) and the Hollywoodbets Sharks have forged a dynamic partnership to promote Sharks Fridays.
This initiative aims to build excitement for upcoming Hollywoodbets Sharks matches while uniting the community in support of their beloved team. With prominent placement on ECR’s top-rated shows, such as the Breakfast Show and The Drive Show, Sharks Fridays has gained incredible traction, turning every Friday into a celebration of local rugby pride.
The Breakfast Show, hosted by Darren Maule, Sky Tshabalala, and Carmen Reddy, is a key platform for driving the message home. Every Friday, the team dons their Warrior Nation jerseys with pride and talk all about their love their the team. They also showcase their jerseys on social media, posting images of themselves in their Hollywoodbets Sharks regalia on all the ECR social media pages as well as their personal pages.
This partnership forms part of the success we’ve experienced with recent jersey sales. Comparing October 2023 and October 2024, jersey sales have surged by over 500%. Month-on-month, sales have increased by over 650% from September 2024 to October 2024.
