Kade Wolhuter and Asenathi Ntlabakanye have returned from injury in a double-boost for the Lions for their Vodacom URC top-of-the-table clash with Leinster in Dublin.

The Lions received a shot in the arm as Ivan van Rooyen made four changes to the starting lineup for Saturday night’s match at the Aviva Stadium.

In one of two changes to the backline, Wolhuter starts at flyhalf – replacing Sanele Nohamba – after joining the squad on tour last week.

The former DHL Stormers playmaker started in the Lions’ season-opening wins at home against Ulster and Edinburgh, scoring 24 points, before suffering a leg muscle injury.

A rotational switch sees Rynhardt Jonker replace Marius Louw at inside centre and form a new midfield partnership with Henco van Wyk.

There are a further two changes to the front row as Ntlabakanye returns to tighthead after recovering from a concussion he suffered against Dragons two weeks ago, while PJ Botha switches in at hooker for Jaco Visagie.

The Lions and Leinster are the only two unbeaten sides in the competition.
