TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: The Stormers named a 6/2 bench split in favour of the forwards, with Springbok scrumhalf Herschel Jantjies making his return off the bench in their United Rugby Championship Round Five clash against Munster.

The Stormers will relish having their first home match of the season at Cape Town Stadium where they have a proud record in the URC following a dismal tour with one win from three attempts leaving them at the bottom of the table.

An all new front row will line-up this week with loosehead prop Sti Sithole and Joseph Dweba coming back back into the starting mix – with Brok Harris and Andre-Hugo Venter dropping to the bench having started in the 7-38 defeat against Edinburgh last week.

There’s also a new lock combination with JD Schickerling partnering with Adré Smith for the first time as Ruben van Heerden will look to make an impact off the bench.

Marcel Theunissen moves back to No.6 after playing off the bench last week with Ben-Jason Dixon at No.7 and Keke Morabe at No.8 completing the loose forward trio.

The backline sees only one change with Suleiman Hartzenberg replacing Angelo Davids on the right wing as Davids completely falls out of the matchday 23.

Stormers: 15 Warrick Gelant, 14 Suleiman Hartzenberg, 13 Ruhan Nel, 12 Dan du Plessis (captain), 11 Leolin Zas, 10 Damian Willemse, 9 Paul de Wet, 8 Keke Morabe, 7 Ben-Jason Dixon, 6 Marcel Theunissen, 5 JD Schickerling, 4 Adre Smith, 3 Neethling Fouche, 2 Joseph Dweba, 1 Sti Sithole.
