Former Springbok scrumhalf Fourie du Preez believes South Africa is poised for a clean sweep from three November Tests in the UK.
The Boks’ tour begins with a clash against Scotland at Murrayfield on 10 November, followed by matches against England in London and Wales in Cardiff.
Du Preez, who was part of the South Africa’s last undefeated European tour in 2013, is confident that Siya Kolisi’s men has the depth and quality to remain unbeaten.
“I believe we should be unbeaten,” Du Preez told Sunday newspaper Rapport, highlighting the strength of the current squad. “This is probably the best group of 30 to 40 players in the history of the Boks.

“They also have the ability to win games, even if they don’t play their best on the day.”
The former Bok scrumhalf believes this schedule gives them a great chance for success, particularly compared to the All Blacks’ more challenging tour.
Du Preez, who played in 76 Tests between 2004 and 2015, warns that accuracy in kicking will be crucial. “Something that is important is that the goal-kicker is accurate,” he said.
Several members of the current squad, including Kolisi, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Eben Etzebeth, and Frans Malherbe, were part of the 2013 team, bringing invaluable experience to this year’s tour.
