The Vodacom Bulls have named over a dozen capped Springboks in a 34-player squad for the three-match URC tour which gets underway with a clash against Ospreys on Saturday.

Jake White named a 34-player squad on Tuesday for the three-game Vodacom URC tour that will see the unbeaten team tackle Ospreys (12 October), Scarlets (18 October), Benetton (25 October).

The only notable absentee is Springbok flank Marco van Staden, who misses out after playing the full 80 minutes in the 47-21 victory over Ulster, which saw the Bulls claim successive wins to start their campaign.

There are 13 Springboks in total in the squad, with co-captains Elrigh Louw and Ruan Nortje leading a strong contingent that also includes props Wilco Louw and Gerhard Steenekamp, hookers Akker van der Merwe, Johan Grobbelaar and Jan-Hendrik Wessels and loose forward Marcell Coetzee.

There are a trio of World Cup winners in Willie le Roux, Kurt-Lee Arendse and Canan Moodie among the backs, while Chris Smit has been added to the flyhalves that includes Jaco van der Walt and Boeta Chamberlain.
