SPOTLIGHT: The Springboks still sit comfortably at No.1 on the World Rugby rankings.

However, South Africa received no reward for their brutal 33-7 mauling of Australia in Round One of the Rugby Championship.

The Boks started the round on 93.11 points and remained there.

The round’s biggest winner was Argentina – going from seventh (81.64) to sixth (93.64) with their 38030 win over New Zealand in Wellington.

The result saw the All Blacks lose two ranking points (90.37 to 88.37), but remain in third place.
